There's a death_transformation_team flag that you can place on the
unit to specify what team it should be placed on after the death
transformation is triggered.

recently, but I didn't and now I have a similar problem. I have units who
are basically enslaved, and I want to set it so that when they're defeated,
the enslavement breaks, and they turn into a new unit that's exactly the
same as the old one, except they have a new name, and are on a different
team, as the enslaved units have their own team. However, though the
death_transformation works and the new unit's file says it's on the team I
want it to be on, it's still on the team of the original unit, which kinda
defeats the purpose.

I'm guessing this is Craig's forte, so hopefully he can create a supporting
flag for death_transformation that transfers the unit to the team of the new
unit if it's different to the original one.
