Hi Garrett,
I agree with you, about 75% of the way, lol.

At least, not right away. I think it might be better for Ian to be happy with
TB when he decides it is completed by his exacting standards. Once he is
comfortable with the game in a completed format, then I think , if he wanted, a
game editor might be a good idea, at least in some format.

There is really a couple diffrent kinds of editors.
Alot of games I have played that gave players an option to edit the game,
usually did not allow them to add new content

Those that did, did not have any editor so to speak. So it would be nice to see
something like that, where maybe some of the work could be already done for
the map creator.

I would imagine html coming into serious use for something like that.
maybe combo boxes for flags in the diffrent html pages that feature just for
that type of file, so all you would see is unit flags for units, point flags
for points and so on.
I also hate useing notpade when I have to write something in one line that
extends beyond the border of the window. My computer just doesn't like doing
that at all.
So edit boxes for all that text would be cool, if it made doing those large
text stuff easier.

Anyway, nice talking with you!

by the way, your email said that it was "written using voice recognition
software". I have an iPhone and I have a hard time dictating to it. Is that
what you use? I wouldn't mind some pointers off list.

  Hello all
I was just wondering, would it be possible to make it so that the map editor
can make new units structures and all that stuff for you? Because, while
messing around with text files is fun, it can sometimes get a little bit
annoying and a little bit cumbersome to deal with. I'm not so sure how that
would handle flags and whatnot though. As far as adding sounds two units and
whatnot, you could probably just use a file open window or something.

This message was dictated using voice recognition software.
