Ah, and different horns for the cars would be funny as well, just a suggestion.

Yep, the strong legs give your monster jump and earthquake. I had to change
earthquake a little because the AI was not using it.

And another question: I haven't found the massive legs in the upgrade Menu for
the earthquake ability. Has it been removed or can it be done with the strong
legs now, I haven't tried it till yet. It's cool so far, keep it up.

They are both, old and new, present. I can drop a rough draft 2.0 and let you
take a look at it. There is a lot not down, like a lot of descriptions and such.
Try out the first map called infestation. This map will be challengeing. I can
tell you that when I let the computer play this one without any intervention on
my part, it took 23 turns. You will have only 20 rounds to accomplish it.
The traing arena is also new. It will let do what you wanted, to be able to
play against the second gen monsters after you finish upgrading them.
The map called build your own city is not at all complete. You can only place
and remove structures at the moment.
I will put the rough draft 2.0 up shortly.

Hi Al,
you said that you added the old maps back in. Does that mean that they replace
the new ones or are both the old and new ones in there? The units and weapons
sound great so far, I am excited.

I honestly wasn’t sure what to do with it. Mostly if the sound doesn’t seem to
really work out, I tend to not really want to do anything with a skill. Im
weird like that, I guess. Grin.
The bazooka is a random skill that can be had by the marine. The marines can
get a flame thrower, grenade launcher or bazooka. Maybe that wasn’t in place
yet in the rough draft.
No worries, man. I just want people to enjoy it. I do prefer the humor for this
one, but I do have a few more serious things in mind.

Wow, sounds cool. BTW, in the rough draft of version two, I see no bazocas for
some units but the different kinds of rockets wich will possibly do the job as
well. I think the modifications you made sound very great. How the sonic scream
should work? I tried it and it came up and after it a house was destroyed.

I hope I found some happy medium with some modifications I put in so far.
I gave a lot of the humans 2 actions for gunfire. I got the bomber going which
can drop small atom bombs and regular bombs. Cars of all sorts ewill pop out
their drivers much sooner.
The ambulance can do what the fire truck can do in terms of effect clean up,
and can release a doctor who likes to prescribe huge doses of pain meds to
monsters.
The monster has a silk glands power that will allow it to "reproduce" via like
aliens the movie. The robot has a drone factory power that allows it to make a
bunch of flying gun drones, or a moving land mine that can do a bit of damage.
The land mine is invulnerable as is the monsters cocoon creation. That means if
you see them on a map, attacking them using regular methods like bullets wont
work...
I got rid of the sonic attack. The sound really wasn’t working for me. The
monster can get a whirlwind attack if it buys wings.
Added the old maps back in.I didn’t change them at all. Well, except for one.
The third gen monsters and robots will be a little more powerful. They are
going to have more groupings of skills that hopefully compliment each other.
Ah, also changed the grabs and nabs to ai_curse to see how that goes. The last
group of giants is the cyborg, who I think I will have to heavily modify to
increase it's bad attitude. This will pick up giants and throw them, at least
that is the plan. I want to give it a skill that will act like a sledge hammer,
slamming the target into the ground like a tent peg, lol.
I am hoping that will work. I ain't there yet.

Enough humans or some with strong enough weapons. The balance is important, so
that no side is to overpowered. Anyone should be able to win or lose with a
challenge so that even the AI has a real chance, like it has in age of warlords
or the star ship maps, too. I think, since there were more units with a few
different abilities each, it is easier for the AI there. But there should be a
way of balancing this out in rampage as well.

Yes, the various summonable units are random. Right now I have the units
getting summoned between 2 and 6 rounds (1r3 per round gained till the number 6
is reached.) I know what you mean. The balance is to keep enough humans
fighting to provide a challenge, yet not so much that it crashes the program,
which seems to happen to some.
I am running out of hot keys for giant powers! Lol. Maybe numbers can be made
into hot keys in a future update.

BTW: If you are fighting against humans as well, is it random based when wich
units will be recruited and come out onto the battlefield first or are they
restricted to a certain amount of turns bevore they can show up? The point is,
if some units will come a lot later in the game only and that happens ever when
you start a new game, it could become to easy to win, especially if some things
are or wouldn't be possible to use or perform for the AI.
Best regards
Niklas

I also have noticed that
when you choose monsters in the multi arena settings you can choose as many
monsters as you want even though it says 3 and the gate never dissapears.

I could load all the skills onto a giant, but the AI might just the first
skills and abilities in the list. Otherwise I would have done it already,
grin. If the arena story ark is added, I will make several monsters which
have groups of powers that will hopefully be easier for the AI to deal with.
If you want an arena were you can manipulate the opponents powers before
fighting it, I can add a skill that will change the team via Craig’s toggle
team script flag. Let me know if that sounds like something you want.

Hi again,
i don’t know if that is already included, but would it be possible to let the
AI use the upgrades as well if it plays with a second gen giant? That would
be interesting, too.
Best regards
