Actually it may not ofcause you may need to put this off at me later if you want.
I was fiddling with rampage 1, and instead of summoning the monster, I made a random player player 1 just because I wanted to.
I did the military base.
The arena does do it all, but I do want to toucn the hybrids, again.
Story goes something like this.
You are one of the chars I don't know, you enter experimental research because you have cancer or something.
It works, but with unforseen results, just like before in infestation you get an escaped animal/ something, this time the robots get them all.
However during this you are infected.
Though this was semi part of the plan a rogue military group get control of the remotes and turn them on you.
Now the enemies control the military bases, all vehicles, not the monsters and not all the robots but thats a distraction.
They don't want the monsters or bots, they want nukes.
Everything tried fails, you and a select number of units are left an elete squad.
You volinteer to get cocooned, some volinteer to get infected, you then are put into a mark 3 robot this robot has everything, and there is a squad of you.
Your orders are to firstly a distraction.
There are a number of monsters round the place set one loose and fight it while the rest of your squad try to reprogram all the remotes, the enemy knows this and start nuking everything and everyone though.
You have some resistance to nukes in fact you can resist just about any attack, but the tradeoff is that your speed is slowed with the extra armour and sensors are on minimal power.
You need to survive long enough say 10 rounds so that your men can get control of things again.
In the next thing, you have evacuated the citys the enemy are in, you release a lot of monsters, you can't control them but thats fine you just need to get everyone away and pick off any stray enemies.
The nonster one doesn't go to well, it works but the enemy gets away with a lot of nukes, and information on the spornlings.
They put it in several missiles and well launch.
You need to now handle all this, ofcause you won't be able to.
Next you need to find the enemy base, and attack, this time due to advances in generation you have full power, as well as this many angry people have realised that they may want to join you, and while a few drive bots and control monsters quite a few are added to your squad.
Fight your way to the enemy base.
The next map will have you and your squad fight your way inside, where the enemy with large nukes and other things wait for you, most of you are destroyed, but a few of you, you and your squad about 10-20 in total hunt down the big boss.
You find him, a hybred himself but due to some power overload during his production he is completely insane.
You fight him, and win or not, you beat him, you win, you loose, well the entire world is totally dead, you win, you can fix what is done and such.
After that depending on it all, you can have a map where you find people infected and cocoon them, all cocoons transport automatically to safe arieas the normals will sporn in better than new condition back to normal you will have to destroy the rest of the enemy missiles and the like.
Sadly before the boss died, he set a nasty nuke to blow everything up so you have to bash that as well or something like that coudl be before the last map.
Then again the story arc sounds long as it is.

Hmm, yeah, that sounds logical to me. What do you mean with if the story Arc is 
complete? Do you plan to add more maps into the story? Yeah, I think the units 
itself will be enough, especially if we consider that some units will get some 
more features, like the tear gas and such. Then the buildings realy don't need 
weapons.

There are a few shis in map 2. A few more will show up a few maps after that.  
Once the story arc is complete, Then maps can have anything going on more or 
less.

As for weaponry on buildings...I am not really sure I want to do that. If I did 
add weapons              to buildings, The number of units could be dropped I 
guess. It just wouldn’t be as fun to me though.

Hi al,

i had another Idea regarding the buildings: What do you think about adding some 
turrets or other weapons onto some buildings, for example onto the roof of the 
military base. Something like in age of warlords, were some buildings have 
theier own weapons as well. And will the ships show up on specific maps only? I 
think that makes sense, since they can only drive on the water.
I ask this because in infestation, they don't showed up till yet.

Allan, was that skill using my script?
It sounds like it, but I'm not sure which one to look at.
If that's the case, then ... I don't know if I can do anything at this point. I 
don't think it is currently possible, through scripting at least, to stop a 
skill before it is being performed if the results of said skill are not going 
to work.

Hi,

I encountered a mysterious error. I tried to recruit a military unit
from the base and put the cursor on another building. The game said
error, you can not summon there, but the recruiting sound played and
after that the unit disappeared and I couldn't put it onto another tile or 
recruit again.
Maybe this can be checked?

I can look for some more fire works.
Yes, the spawnlings can hit everything except buildings.
I noticed the stupid gun drones were shooting a lot then they should,
I gave them 1  action, but I somehow missed putting the cost into the
skill. Sigh.

So no problems? Anything that seemed wrong?

it looks pretty good so far. Congrats on the user guide, it is realy good.
One question, is it correct that the spawnlings can attack cars still?
That happens in the infestation map. It is okay if they do, I like it,
but I was unsure if that is intended. However, don't give up on the
flying thing with the changeling. Unfortunately, I can't help with
this, but I am sure there will be a way to get it working. I realy
like your map packs for all the details in them. Maybe more fireworks sounds 
would be funny, too.

Ok, for those interested.
I am hopeing you can check out the first 4 maps and the aena maps.
A lot of chnges got made but not nearly enough.
My biggest problem is that I have equippable items that allow for flight.
These remove the walk skill. Yet, the walk skill keeps coming back for
some reason, ruining the thing. I am fed up to the eyeballs withit. If
anyone has any ideas why this is happening, please let me know.

The new things that I can remember  adding are:
1. Added three ships. Aircraft carrier, battleship and cruise ship.
2. Added a new structure. The forward observation base. It summons
marines and military vehicles.
3. Added more car horns
4. changed the female mental patient to make her.more mental I guess.
5. Changed the male mental patient to be like Ashe from army of darkness.
Why? Because Bruce Campbell is cool.
6. Fixed the blindness protectors to use the optics slots.
7. Made the Jet Bomber a scary unit. She got atom bombs.
8. Lessened damage done by spawnlings  do to monsters, lowered their
health by 5 points.
9. Made the gun drones stronger but less get summoned.
10. Made sure can only affect life forms and nothing else.
11. Seperated  all the items and slots so that everything can be
equipped with sacrifice.
12. Added the monster changeling. It has five forms at the moment. I
need ideas for mor forms.
13. Wrote a user guide. It is so wonderful that I should get two
Nobell prizes. One for the guide and one for taking selfie's with.
14. Added new monster powers: Ink spray, mid blast, toughened hide,
tail smash 15. Added new robot powers: whirling razor, raned nab/grab,
energy shield, eye beam, blinding flash, multitasking module.
16. Slipped in the bathroom, hit my head, invented the flux capacitor.
  17. Made  it quicker for cars to summon units.
  18. Fixed arena maps. Hopefully nothing will do that infiniteloop
thingy, etc.
19. Added the changeling to the arena maps for people to try ot.

20. Lots of other stuff fixed and/or made.

I know I hafve lots of more stuff to do. Tear gas, robot transformers,
the zoo, post office, submarine etc and so forth.
