Ok, it sent my brain spinning with ideas for adding and implementing,
thanks for the feedback.
Sounds like it'll take a gigaton of work to get done.
Would you mind helping?

Hi Keith,
It is a start, but I feel like I should explain what I was planning and maybe
that will help.
The idea was based ona old sighted "god game" called Dungeon Master.
You start off as basically a overlord. You have a vulnerable structure called the
"heart of the dungeon" which the adventurers that break into the dungeon are
trying to destroy. If they destroy that dungeon heart, the source of your power, then
the good guys win.
The map starts off with just basic ground. It is all considered underground
and randomly thruout the map is deposits of resources, mostly gold or
crystals.
The dungeon master summons goblins. These dig thru the ground in order to
reach the resources. They can then they can mine the gold and crystals etc.
Also, they can build rooms. These rooms are used to draw the various monsters
to the dungeon.
Each monster type requires a certain sized room, before the room begins to
summon them.
Some monsters are made thru other means.
One is if you capture adventurers, or if you wish, want to punish some of your
monsters, you can put them into the prison room. There they starve to death.
Once they are dead, they become skeletons or zombies.
In another room, called the torture chamber, you can put monsters or
adventurers in it. They get tortured until they die, and so they become ghosts.
A third room is a graveyard, and burying certain adventurers and dead monsters
there will eventually raise up vampires.
Eachmonster gets wages and needs food.
The wages are in the form of gold or crystals and the monsters will not work or
fight without it.
They also use these wages to train ina special training room. Because the
monsters can raise up in levels.
They also have a special room to go eat food, which is in the form of chickens.
Eachmonster requires a certain amount of wages and food, some more and some
less.
There is more to it even then that. In the game, the player can set upa library or
workstation where trolls or wizards can help "research" special skills that can
be learned for the dungeon master, allowing the player to do more things like place
traps, doors, and use different spells.
After the player has a certain amount of time to build up the dungeon, then
the adventurers dig into the dungeon or portal to a point on it's outskirts.
They begin to attack and it is your job to send monsters to attack them, and
defend the heart of the dungeon.
If the character is able to kill the adventurers, theywin that "realm".
Ostensibly speaking, the campaign for the game was that as a dungeon master, you were to
enter each realm of the good lands, and by killing the adventurers, the realm becomes
corrupted and evil thru your influence and monsters.
So basically, at the start the game would give some detail like...
"Fairy land, a place of happiness filled with marshmellow laughter and
chocolate rives of candy.
Then, if you win, the realm would be described as something corrupted, such
as...
Fairy land: once happy and full of life, your ultimate evil designs have
enslaved theinhabitants, poured garbage into the chocolate rivers and burned
laughter right out of the hearts of the people, much as a marshmelow melts over
a inferno of flames that burned way too hot.
My thoughts were to follow that design, but obviously, it would be different
in many respects due to the nature of the game engine. I think it could be
done to a certain degree.
Anyway, I just wanted to share that, if you were going to continue, and maybe
it gave you some ideas.

Well, for a while now I've bin working away at a new map pack.
Remember when Allen said he wanted to make a reverse kind of dungeon thing?
I know it was his idea, but I couldn't resist making something my celf,
hope no one minds.
In this, you summon all kinds of shady and evil creatures to stop
adventurers.
This map pack will probably need feedback if it gets started.
