Thursday landing ppl: are y'all down to tour around SF and see some cool
things on friday morning and afternoon? It's kinda our only free time and
it would be convenient to meet up with the ppl who land early afternoon on
friday! There's a bunch of stuff to do - I'll attach a list at the bottom
and we can choose something from that and go sightseeing. So If you're
landing on Friday in SFO ( I think its the lovely ladies rupa tesch and
sahana) contact thursday folks! Once we vote on something to do I can send
out an itenerary for the day!
How to get from SFO - The hotel/ Berkeley:
There are several options but uber is probably a great option so
re-download that app.
Also there's the BART: It's reliable but a bit slow and affordable!
There's a station thats accessible right at SFO and you can bart to oakland
station via the yellow line and then bart again from that oakland station
to DT berkeley station on the orange line. From there I believe we can
contact our liaison for a ride to their place OR uber to the hotel OR
theres a bus (51B Berkeley Amtrak) to the
University Av:9th St stop - use google maps because it's super helpful!!
FRIDAY AFTERNOON!
everyone who is able to attend the mixer you should be in berkeley/oakland
area by 5:00pm because we have to be at the mixerat 6:00pm!
The mixer location is : Anna Head Alumni House (look it up!)
Call time 6:00pm sharp!
Please wear Hum T-shirt if you have one (if not plz wear a UT t-shirt) and
jeans/ non slack pants.
Immediately after the mixer we're going to be practicing our set so please
don't make plans to meet up with friends/ etc on Friday night!
Saturday's schedule is TBD so we'll keep you posted. Since the day is
busy, I highly advise you get as much rest as you can on Friday night.
Show time on Saturday is 5:00pm (send ticket link to friends and relatives
who plan on attending asap because they think it's going to be sold out
soon).
After Party - we have bus transportation from our hotel to the AP and back

landing on your to and from trips! Please check the google calendar and
your personal
itineraries to make sure you will be ready for your flights!
Also Plz keep some cash on y'all for emergencies!! It's gonna be an

TOUR SIGHTSEEING OPTIONS:
(1) Fisherman's Wharf/Pier 39
(2) Ghiradelli Square and Union Square
(3) Go up the Colt Tower on Telegraph Hill
(4) The best view of The Golden Gate Bridge is NOT in Golden Gate Park but
on the other side of the bridge in Marin Headlands. A cool suggestion here
is to cross the bridge by car and view the bridge at the vista point from
the other side
(5) Lombard Street (The famous curvy street)
A lot of other cool things can be found on an app called Sosh, it gives
you a lot of cool things going on in the city.
Food:
Lots of reccomendations in East Bay and around Berkeley.
Pizza: Sliver/Cheeseboard
Ice Cream: Go to cream or fentons in oakland.
Burgers: Bongo Buger
Indian Food: Indian Flavors Express
Chinese: Great China
Sushi: Tako Sushi
Angelines is a nice southern sit down place in downtown berkeley.
Late night food: seniores pizza, artichoke pizza, thai noodle, and top dog
