Hi Arnold,
Yes indeed, the part of walking in a forest with your eyes closed was very
interesting but very unsettling in the beginning.
Kind Regards,
Nuno

Hi Nuno,
So you remember! Funny.
And we walked backwards and also with closed eyes. Remember?
Walking backwards, I experienced as very meditative.
Closed eyes, gave me too much tension (am I save?).
For all others, you can read an instruction on WALKING
MEDITATION<https://ggia.berkeley.edu/practice/walking_meditation>

Hi Arnold,
This meditative walking instruction sounds like the Mindfulness course on
e-miles I attended 2 years ago.
Among other techniques, we did a walk in the forest (near the Philips site in
the Boschdijk) and learned a bit about this kind of meditation.
I recommend.
Kind Regards,

Dear all,
I’ve found this short instruction on meditative
walking<https://ggia.berkeley.edu/practice/walking_meditation>:
Walking meditation involves very deliberating thinking about and doing a series
of actions that you normally do automatically. Breaking these steps down in
your mind may feel awkward, even ridiculous. But you should try to notice at
least these four basic components of each step:
a) the lifting of one foot;
b) the moving of the foot a bit forward of where you’re standing;
c) the placing of the foot on the floor, heal first;
d) the shifting of the weight of the body onto the forward leg as the back heel
lifts, while the toes of that foot remain touching the floor or the ground.

Dear meditation friends,
Unfortunately, I have to cancel the meditation session today.
Perhaps you can replace it with a meditative walk, paying attention to your
breath and senses !
Have an excellent week, see you next time :)
