I am still in the strong opinion that we need to know if DJs may be able to
remote in from home if need be and that they have the minimum equipment to do
this and do a show.
We don’t have to tell them at this time that we have decided to postpone the
broadcast.
We only need to to tell them that we are looking at contingencies where DJs can
remote into the main studio to do their show if need be. They will expect this.
In the end it is how the message is put across and Andy is really good at
giving the right message so it gains the information we need without giving
anything away.
Jon, that looks excellent. Brilliant work. I particularly like the facility
where those who already use a playout system to do shows on other stations can
use their own set-up. I would find that so much easier and in the end we would
only need the server details to log in to.
The only other thing Jon (after you have sorted the remote access) is the
receipt of emails and text whilst on air. I am sure this wouldn’t be a massive
issue to solve.

I must say, I agree with Rick. I think we must make sure it will all work
before any announcements are made. As far as anyone in concerned at the moment
it is going ahead as usual and that is fine. Delaying any announcement will do
no harm. Having to backtrack will. In addition, an announcement to DJs will
leak.
