Encompass New Zealand update!
Help! - We need your input!
The Encompass NZ Board has in the past year to 18 months had difficulty in
dealing with the changes of contacts and structures within HP due to
reorganisations and staff changes. It has been impossible to get any
action that results in delivery of activities that you have told us you
want (these have been interoperability, mobility, storage, security and
networks). The current round of HP re-organisation doesn?t help!
We have new HP representation on the Board ? Mike Hill and Jon Wilson.
Mike is the National Enterprise Sales Manager in the Customer Solutions
Group and Jon is Marketing Specialist in HP Services. John McCullough, who
many of you know personally, has worked with the Board in the past and
will continue on for a time, but his current role within HP does not
include liaison with end users so he has regretfully tendered his eventual
resignation. We thank him for his support and for keeping the User Group
links into HP alive during the merger and subsequent re-organisations
within HP ? it?s not been easy!
The problem is that Mike and Jon need to convince other people within HP
that user group activity support is required. We know that most of you do
not have direct contact with HP, but you would like contact with the
company to get, for example, technical updates on products, product
directions etc. Hence the survey we are currently running.
We need you to take the survey so that Mike and Jon have the ammunition
they need to get HP to help us deliver the activities you have said you want.
