Hi Arron,
We discussed what we thought would be a good project to work on for the
Pendleton area. The group tossed out ideas and many of the things that were
stated could be done in a Day Center.
There will be more discussion, although I think it will be a Day Center where
people can get linked to services, possible get mail/phone messages and a place
they can hang out if there is no other place to do so. It was discussed that
during holidays and other days that the library and state agencies are not
open, many will hang out at churches.
I believe that there used to be a place through Neighbor 2 Neighbor that was a
Day Center, although that is no longer open.
