Hi Jacoby, Denise, Lena, Sue, Lena, and Lucas,
As far as the note to Lauren and Marnita, I've added my edits to this google
doc:

I've also updated Denise's email address, so she's in the loop, and have
included Lena V. and Lukas on this email, as well, so the whole team is in
the loop.
I've backed off the deadline of trying to meet by Thursday, though it would
be great if we could meet sooner rather than later, so that we can
communicate via the Liberal, etc.
I welcome other feedback on this note and am glad to be in this all with you!

Hello Everyone,
Below is the text that I would like to send Marnita and Lauren concerning
some of the statements made in the sermon this Sunday. Please take a look and
let me know if there are any area of concerns anyone would like to address
before noon tomorrow:
Hello Marnita and Lauren,
Thanks for coming this Sunday to speak with us and for helping us fully
communicate the work and efforts of Marnita's Table. I am so grateful that
you all spoke and cannot wait to continue our work together!
Immediately after the service we heard an overwhelming amount of positive
feedback regarding your organization's work and mission. We did also receive
feedback from members in our community expressing concern of a false
dichotomy between the work achieved by your organization and the work
achieved by protesting. Members in our community who deeply embrace direct
action/protesting have made progressive strides within our church to
encourage action and have a deep concern that this language could affect
expression within our community. This issue regarding direct action has been
an area of active debate within our religious community as of late (link to
an article below).
As an advisory, I suggest that any future representatives from Marnita's
Table avoid making comparisons of the work done by Marnita's Table and by
those who value direct action by protesting. This suggestion is made in the
interest of making sure we are able to focus on the work achieved by your
organization and your Holiday Giving funding campaign.
