Meeting Minutes for 08/09/2017
- The following role assignments were determined:
Chairpersons - Lena and Jacoby
Secretary - rotation/Jacoby
Tech Support - Lukas
Narrative - Sue
Public Speaking & Promotions- Brian
with Visual Assistance- Lena
Recipient Liaison - Jacoby
Youth and RE Liaison- Skyler and Amelie (Lena overseeing)
- Team to make a scoring criteria and Lukas and Jacoby will create a scoring
grid
- Team would like to consider collecting stories from the congregation about
their experiences with the Holiday Giving Program. Have Sue work with Jenn S to
possibly get some publications requesting stories out there.
- The team discussed the following methods as viable ways to market our
fundraising campaigm:
- A story in the liberal written by Justin about the HGP
- Tabling
- Posters
- Charting growth and fundraising using visual interactions (e.g. a chart,
site or graph for all to see)
- Bring in reps from the chosen organization to present their org at a
services, etc. or First U event

It has been moved to 7pm. I thought I had sent a message right after that last
meeting confirming the change. However, I just saw Brian's question about the

PS...IS HOLY SMOKES AN OFFENSIVE TERM?! I discovered recently that some terms
that people use mindlessly are actually offensive when looking at the origin.
Someone correct me quick if it is! More mindfulness, ha!
