GreetingFellow Democrats,
I had sent a meeting notice last week, we used a different computer and the
message went to a few people and it was from Greg. Sorry for any confusion,
here it is and hope this is works better.
Just a quick note to remind everyone of our next meeting on July 12th at
the Deer Run Park pavilion at 7:00 pm. We would like to invite our members
to a picnic before the meeting, 5:00 to 7:00. This will be a time to visit
and enjoy food together. The officers will provide a meat and cheese tray,
buns, condiments and water to drink.please bring a dish to share , beverage
and your on service. This pavilion is the one closest to the library. We
will our meeting in the pavilion at 7:00. If you have any questions please
contact me.
*Expected Agenda*
*Holme County Education Foundation Presentation: *An opportunity to explore
ways to have the Democrats be a known group in the county. An idea was
presented to make a donation to the Education Foundation as a way to get
our group known with young people in our community.
*Holmes County Fair Booth Plan: *The Holmes County Fair will operate as
usual. We need to form a committee to organize setting up and taking down
the booth and scheduling volunteers to sit in the booth during fair hours.
*Election/Redistricting update: *There will be an opportunity to work for
the Democratic candidates as the election gets closer.we need to write
letters and keep the pressure on for a fair map of the districts.
*Meeting location: *The library may extend their hours past 7 pm. We will
know more toward the end of summer.
Please come for food and laughs at 5:00 pm, the meeting will start at 7:00,
in the pavilion closest to the library in Deer Run Park. We will have a
sign.
