No, I would not expect any problems with other chip sets. The 8200 is the only one that is affected; even the 8300 embedded chip set works OK. The 8200 is the only chip set that is an embedded only series and has apparently got forgotten along the way. I have systems with the 8300 embedded and 8600 PCI-E slot cards working properly. > > Good info..thanks for posting this..c > > On Wed, Sep 2, 2009 at 9:05 PM, Lee Parmeter <geek@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx > <mailto:geek@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>> wrote: > > Lee Parmeter wrote: > > Looks like others have reported problems with system freezes > running Ubuntu > 9.04 and an Asus M3N78-VM with the nVidia 8200 onboard chipset. > > <http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/archive/index.php/t-123993.html> > > Further testing over the last few days seem to suggest my problem is > related to the 2.6.28.14 Linux kernel.
