I did the complete "immersion" thing, like learning a new language, jumping in the deep end of the pool. I've used Chromium exclusively for a couple of weeks, gathering links for the ezine (and Wavezine). There's a feature that Don and I both miss so he's checked out the forums and can't seem to get an answer. We gather links when we have the time and when it's time to write the ezine, about 3-5 days before posting, we routinely open Bookmark Manager, choose 5-10 links at a time and right-click to 'open all in tabs'. Then we check out the sites more thoroughly and write them up. Chrome and Chromium have no way to do that so far as we can tell and it's an annoyance not to have a feature that saves time and effort. He did write the developers making a feature request, we'll see where that goes.

Ohhhh I never thought of selecting tabs to open I thought it opened the full folder, thanks heh... duh

By the way, we have invites to Google Wave to give away if anyone's interested. It's slow and clunky right now, but it is after all a preview-not even alpha, much less beta. It's fun and interesting and is the new paradigm in communications and collaboration. Let me know.

Yeah Lisa, I watched the presentation and I think this is exactly what I have wanted for a long time. Shoot me an invite and lemme check it out. I have been head working a project for past few years that I would love to project on a wave to help assemble and verify all the parts that have to connect. A simple simple title would be 'a small self feeding community garden pod' and yeah that makes no sense without describing the model. Anyway this is a great time to try it out since this weather makes it impossible for me to do any physical work. I gotta go out today and prepare for the mid teens temps we are about to receive near Bedias. I am testing a low cost way of heating a green house that I built to test part of my ideas. I am gonna run a water line tru coiled water hose inside the perimeter of the GH and return the water back to the big tank it is drawn from running from a 12VDC pump and battery so power failure is not a factor.

Woops I am rambling to early in the morn. Thanks Lisa fix me up.
