Hi,

Andrei just reported that the last bug fix for beet patch is contained in the just released 2.6.27 kernel. So there is no need to patch the kernel anymore (unless you want to run the experimental native API). Even with legacy systems, you can run the userspace ipsec provided developed by Jeff Ahrenholz, Tao Wan and Rene Hummen.

Special thanks for Joakim Koskela on the hard work on the BEET patch! Good work.
I just learned that RH has their 5.3 beta open now. Of course you have to have a RH license to participate, but it would be the best time to get their attention to adding the BEET patch.

I am trying to find out what I need to do to get their attention to this. I will also see what leverage ICSAlabs has. I doubt I can get anyone in Verizon directly interested over in ITS, but I will look into that also.

what kernel version is it running?
