I recently started running hipdnsproxy as a service instead of from the command line in a terminal window. Further, I never really ran it on oqo2, which is the responder in my tests.

I was still having issues with registering to my RVS at boot time from oqo2; it worked from the command line with hipconfig, but not via /etc/hip/hipd_config. Now in neither case do I supply the HIT for the RVS, oqo3, only the fqdn. So I decided to enable hipdnsproxy as a service at boot.

BINGO! RVS registration at boot is now working!

Today I started seeing something new. Maybe I just missed it since adding hipdnsproxy as a service at boot, or maybe it has to do with some recent updates to Centos (audit, giflib, xulrunner?).

When I run 'host' I get the messages:

;; Warning: ID mismatch: expected ID 64739, got 51656

I get this twice.

Or

;; Warning: ID mismatch: expected ID 27106, got 56991

Also twice.

Further 'host' only returns the HIT and LSI, not the ipv6 addr. And ping6 is not working. gftp does work, but is very slow. This is to a non-HIP host.
