[hipl-users] Pushing more information to HIP

I want to provide a new parameter in the HIP handshake. The information in
this handshake is derived in my client application. Does anyone have
suggestions on how to push this information through from the time where I
call: *int hip_connect_func(struct addrinfo *peer_ai, int *sock)* to the
time where e.g. I1 is created and then the esp packages are sent?
