[hipl-users] Problems using LSIs oer IPv6 for IPv4 apps

Here is the setup so far.

Both client and server only have IPv6 addresses. On the client /etc/hosts has an entry for the server's IPv6 address and 2 names: server.test and server.test4

The /etc/hip/hosts has two entries. One with the default HIT to server.test and one with 1.0.0.10 to server.test4.

I tried: hipconf run normal telnet server.test4

Get a 'found HIT/LSI for server.test4 in /etc/hip/hosts", then 'lsi to add: 1.0.0.10', then 'no HITs or LSIs were found.', and finally 'server.test4/telnet: Name of service not known'.

If I try vncviewer instead the last message is replace with:

main: unable to resolve nost by name: Success (0)

Help?
