I am using fedora core 6 for your information
FC6 is SUPPOSE to be equiv to RHEL 5 and Centos 5 which are at 2.6.18. We have userspace rpms for RHEL/Centos 5. 

See if you can move over to Centos 5.2 from your FC6.

        Hi every one ,

                     I have installed HIP binaries and wanted  to test
        it ..I coludnot find the demon...please help me in locating it
        and is there any special plugin needed to capture packets in
        wire shark.

        platform fedora kernel version 2.6.12
