Hi Neighbors,
Friendly reminder to break boxes down at the recycling area. Whoever just
received a new sectional, you might be new to the neighborhood. If so,
welcome, but boxes must be broken down at the recycling area. 😉
While my house is not currently for sale, some neighbors are currently trying
to sell. If you were selling your home you wouldn’t want the, for lack of a
better term, “hood looking” recycling area to be the reason you did not
receive an offer.
Another perspective as it relates to the overall recycling/trash area,
there’s actually a neighbor that lives right next door to the recycling area.
If it were you, would you want to walk out to that? 🤷🏾♀️
It takes a village to keep the neighborhood beautiful. Do your part, break
down the boxes.
Below is a carve out from the Welcome Packet we all received in case anyone
needed a refresher.
Junk pickup: To help residents with those bulky waste items, the neighborhood
pays for miscellaneous junk pickup every Monday. Please wait to put any items
out next to the trash compactor until the evening before pickup.
Recycling pick up: Weekly pick up on Monday and Thursday. Allowed materials:
Glass, Aluminum, Paper, and Plastic. If you are discarding cardboard boxes,
it is imperative that you break them down flat before placing them in the
recycling area.
