The City of Atlanta will be performing repairs near several water mains
near 14th St. on Wednesday. They are optimistic that the repairs will
be completed without incident. There is a chance that something could
go wrong. If so, a lot of the city will lose water pressure between the
Brookwood interchange all the way down to the airport. If this happens,
we'll be under a boil water advisory, once pressure is restored.
Plan ahead by:
- Showering Tuesday night
- Cleaning dishes / running dishwasher Tuesday night
- Buying some bottled water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth,
washing hands
- Filling a 5 gallon bucket full of water ahead of time for toilet
flushing
Again, hopefully nothing happens, but please be prepared for a 24 hour
outage plus another 24 hour boil water advisory.
