When a carrier arrives with a delivery, there will likely be
multiple packages.  These can be stored temporarily at the front gate. 
The
person at the front gate can email this list with unit numbers that 
have
received packages.  At the end of the shift, remaining packages can be
carried to the mailbox area.  Packages over 30 pounds should probably 
be
left with the carrier to be redelivered the next day; it just isn't 
safe to
carry something heavy while trying to walk on a narrow strip with the
person's view of their feet being blocked (we can make exceptions for 
the
100 and 800 buildings).  In the unlikely event that a large shipment of
small boxes is delivered, please let me know, and I can get a hand 
truck
and assist.  The hand truck is too wide to be used on the cement curb, 
but
it can be used between the front gate and mailbox area.

Heather, thanks for volunteering your umbrella.  While the road
closes at 9AM, we won't block the gates until contractors have had 
time to
place their equipment and give the OK to block the gates.  At that 
time, we
can block the gates and place the umbrella and chairs.  I would 
recommend
leaving your umbrella in the pool area overnight, but we can move it 
in the
morning.

If the goal is to collect all deliveries, 9AM - 7PM would be good
(UPS gets here late).  If a pool umbrella is easy to move, it could be 
used
for shade.  I will be out walking around before 9AM to make sure the
neighborhood is ready for the project to begin.  I'll see if I can get 
an
umbrella and chairs out there.
