It may be a legitimate detective.
The break-in could be a mugging on the street.
Lets hope we hear about it.
Thanks Julie and Reece

The same detective just called me randomly on the call box. We got cut off but
he was asking to be let in. I didn’t let him before it got disconnected. But
He said he wanted to ask questions to those on the Jackson Street side about a
break in. The call box disconnected before I could get any other info. I
thought that approach was weird as well. Perhaps it was something nearby. He
said he wanted to see if folks had camera or door cameras? He didn’t call me
back after it was disconnected though.

Hey everyone
We live in 508 (the unit closet to the bridge). We were just outside and
someone claiming to be a detective came to the gate and said he was
investigating a recent break in and asking if we had cameras. I wasn’t out
there but my fiancé was and said he had a badge and a gun on his hip. I
think this is weird because if there was a break in in the community
everyone is usually good about communicating about incidents like this.
Obviously anyone can have a gun and as bags is pretty easy to fake. Was
there an incident in the community like this and was anyone else contacted
my law enforcement?
Thanks
