Hi Neighbors,
Happy Friday! This email pertains only to the 400 building. There was one
last item that needed a replacement part as it relates to the plumbing
repair yesterday. *The plumber will be onsite and is scheduled to turn off
the water to the 400 building only from noon to 2pm today.* CMA will
contact the Board once the water is turned back on.
Yesterday, while the plumber did perform the repairs in the amount of time
they provided, they performed them outside of the window of time they
communicated. We’ve expressed our dissatisfaction in more ways than one and
are working out the apology in their invoice. That lack of communication is
not expected today. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Unfortunately, when they built our townhomes they did not provide separate
water lines for each unit. While having the water included in our dues can
have its benefits the major downside is when there’s a plumbing issue in a
unit and water needs to be turned off for multiple units or the entire
complex. The Board is working with Zurn to see when they can replace the
remaining valves and will keep you posted. That will allow for only an
affected building’s water to be turned off when such issues arise instead
of the entire community.
