Has anyone else contacted Dennis about this problem? In light of the extent of
the problem, I can't believe that I'm the only one who has been ranting and
raving.
We have been dealing with this problem for several years too long, and
aggressive action must be taken now. We pay too much in association fees to
live in fear of rats.

One important thing to note is that they do cause unseen damage. A

my air conditioning condensate line was damaged by rodents. On the

I think our rodent problems came in two phases. Around 2004, I noticed
rodents after the brush separating Freedom Parkway and our neighborhood
was cleared. I also remember the problem resurfaced in 2007 when the
Atlanta Overlook across Freedom Parkway was torn down. After that
point, I noticed them a lot more near the dumpster and pool area.
It would be a good idea to put some more rodent controls in place. I
noticed an exterminating company was in the neighborhood yesterday
evening as well as today around 12:45PM. I'm not sure if they are being
called due to rodents or some other problem.

Dear Neighbors:
Over the course of several months, and periodically for a couple of years, I
have been hearing rats running in the walls and vents. Today, the service
provider told me that the rats are likely gaining access at the end of the
Building, and they can run between the units after they gain access. At one
point, we had rat traps at the dumpster, which serves as a food source that
attracts the rats, but the traps are no longer present. I have previously
seen rats at the dumpster and in the pool area.
When I report an issue, the pest control company comes out and seals up
vents, but there have been no regular and ongoing aggressive actions to
eradicate or control the problem long term. My preference is to have a pest
control company service the property at least monthly to lay and check traps,
as well as check to ensure that access areas remain sealed. Currently, that
is not happening.
I have made numerous reports to Dennis. At this point, he probably already
knows why I'm calling whenever my telephone number shows up on his caller ID.
I never had to deal with rodent problems when I initially moved into this
community, but now, the problem is a regular occurrence. Are there any other
neighbors dealing with this problem? Does anyone have any recommendations as
to how we can aggressively deal with this issue?
