Thanks Alex. Sounds like our process was successfully implemented. Thanks
for handling.

Nobody ever likes having their car towed, and being upset over a tow is
expected. I had a car towed once when I was younger, but it was because
of ignorance. In this case, the vehicle owner had already received
ample notice, and our parking rules were applied fairly.
1. We properly documented every time the vehicle was sighted in a guest
parking space.
2. We applied our process equally and fairly to all vehicles in guest
parking spaces.
3. Once 8 sightings within a 30 day period were documented, a guest
parking courtesy notice was issued on December 11th and placed on the
windshield of the vehicle.
4. The courtesy notice was not heeded, and a tow notice was placed on
the windshield of the vehicle and emailed to the community on December
12th. The notice stated, "Please refrain from parking in any of the
guest parking spaces inside the gates. If your vehicle is found in any
guest parking space over the next six months from the date of this
notice, then it is subject to immediate towing without notice."
5. On December 13th, we tried to tow the vehicle 24 hours after the tow
notice was issued, but our towing contract was not in order.
6. On December 14th, the towing company arrived, but the vehicle was
parked in such a way that it could not be towed without causing damage
to the truck and common elements.
< Between December 10th and 14th, the vehicle had not moved, and the
notices remained on its windshield.>
7. After December 14th, I saw that the vehicle began routinely parking
in a driveway.
8. On January 4th at 6:50PM (a date less than 6 months from December
12th), the vehicle was observed in a guest parking space again. It was
successfully towed around 9:15PM.
I share this information, so that all of us know the facts.
Thanks,
Alex
