Issue
When a filter is applied and you do not see any clients displayed, the activity 
buttons remain enabled, clicking them will take you into that activity with no 
associated client and tends to lead to variuos errors.

Example, book every one out, then select the Booked In filter... no clients are 
visible, but the activities are still accessible.
