Issue:
Is there going to be at any point a print feature in HIFIS? Many agencies do
'shift reports' on clients staying at the shelter to keep people apprised of
what's going on. These reports are too detailed to be included in bulletins,
and there needs to be a permanent (or semi-permanent) record of them. The most
appropriate place that users have found to do these shift reports so far is
MEMOS, however memos can be edited by people other than the originator-there
needs to be a 'hard copy' function -either print the memo or make it uneditable
by anyone other than the originator-so that those data can be carried forward.
Has this ever come up, or is there some function that does this for a memo-type
field that's associated with a client or client's stay?
Solution:
Need new right to allow/prevent editing by other than author / Admin
