Category: Report: New / Reports Originator: Weber, Glenn Priority: Low Issue The region does not seem to like the billing report. We(being the Region IT and I) have looked at exporting the information from the billing report via the csv function and then the Region will import that into their favorite data base report writing tool and create a billing that the EIS staff will like. So this brings up 1 or 2 items. Can the export to csv have a common dialogue box come up to give the opportunity to name the csv and save to somewhere other than the default HifExtract.csv to C:\Temp. What the EIS staff wants is one report that shows one client per line with their different stays and different programs assigned to them. Currently a client could end up on different reports if assigned more than I program during the month, and if they book in and out numerous times during the month there would be a line for each stay split between the different programs on the report. Note: This is not a request to change the billing to meet the Region's need. We have told them they will be getting the current report starting in January and if they want to make changes they will need to produce them with their resources. One problem we do have with the billing report is how it handles families. Can we somehow show that a client belongs to the family head? If a child with a different surname is assigned a program it is not always apparent who this child belongs to as the staff deal with the family head surname. Could this somehow get into the billing report? We were hoping this would allow us to group the family using the csv export. Is there a field (family ID) that would be produced to show the family link? Solution: < le texte Français suit - French text below > Thank you for your feedback on the HIFIS software.
