I trust all the beacon Ops along the Atlantic New England coast have made emergency preparations. I wish all Operators the best as hurricane Irene approaches.

The band was slow again today..Flux over a 100 and spots nearing that amount. The trans equatorial path was open by my local noonhour.

17:50-17:58 Z, 26 August 2011 I can hear 5 ten meter beacon signals into EM71.
