The band was dead on my first scan. Then on the second scan...BAM...beacon
signals started coming in from every direction. It was hard to end this scan
because the band kept changing. Some beacons would drop out and others
started making their presence known. EA4Q had the strongest signal of the
bunch. It varied with QSB 579 to 599.
It took two antennas to complete this scan. About half heard on the multi-band
dipole and the other half on the Moxon.
What a pleasure hearing so many beacons from such a wide area. The two
previous days I heard nothing.
