Im not sure about Beacon Hill. I know there was a WMC there but it looks
like Beech Hill. That could refer to Beech near Alton but Im not sure if
there was a club there and Doug Aitkin (photographer) didnt cover that
area.
He did cover Beacon Hill and Haslemere and there is a Beech Hill in
Haslemere but I cant find any evidence of a WMC there.
Please can you put Beech Hill but add Beacon Hill ? in brackets
afterwards.
Thanks
Chris

Hi Karen my take on these:
1. Definitely Beacon Hill Working Mens Club
2. West Surrey College of Art and Design?
3. Peter Paget
At the end of a harrowing five-day Portsmouth court marital, Lt-Commander
Peter Paget, RNR, 44-year-old commanding officer of the ill-fated
minesweeper HMS Fittleton, was found guilty of one of four charges

Dear All
Hope you're all keeping well and dry this soggy Wednesday....
Here's a few ? to ponder.. Firstly, just confirmation that WMC is Working
Men's Club as below in no 4:
What is WSCAD (see no 10 above) please.....
No.14. Lieutenant Commander Paget of HMS Fittleton (is that correct)?
As always, thank you so much for your help in deciphering these anomalies.
Regards, Karen
