1. ??? Weird one.
2. Red Rover was the regular mail coach that travelled London to
Winchester. It was a horse-drawn coach marathon at the show presumably. (The
Red Rover did a regular re-enactment of the run annually through Farnham right
up to the 1970s so this event hay have coincided. The coach stopped at the Duke
of Cambridge in East Street.) See the attached photos taken, I think, in the
early 1960s.
