That is a shame about Rosemary...I wondered why she was not cited in anything
later than about 1980. I Looked up Lyne and Jerries and found lot of stuff on
the on www including some really good archaeological papers:

Years ago I did a slide presentation called “A Year in the Forest” which
featured the reconstruction. I must get the transparencies scanned and share
them.
The two archaeologist were Malcolm Lyne and Rosemary Jefferies. Sadly Rosemary
was killed soon after in a road accident.
Farnham Pottery and the then school of art were involved in making the pots.

Thanks everyone. I was very interested in the Roman pottery kiln at Alice Holt,
Chris. Looked it up and found references to it in some online archeological
papers.

Hi Tony,
1 Crosby’s bomb scare – that wasn’t the big one though.
2 Darren Jaggers
3 Farnham Football Club join Memorial Ground Battle – I think as usual Waverley
wanted more money or to turf them out!
4 Fine to either just put the month or a date in the week – those photographs
were actually taken over a period of about a fortnight. It was a very
interesting archaeological reconstruction.

Help please
1. Crosby’s Bom Scare?
2. Darren Jagger Judo Boy?
3. Farnham F C join???
4. Chris - I think you said that if the date column gives the Month/Year
only (i.e. ‘5/78’), to give it a date within the given week (in this case week
23? Is that correct?
Thanking you in advance…
Tony
