Thanks Christine,
Just tried that (Snipping Tool) which can be accessed by typing that in the
search bar.
When it opens, with the image you want to capture on screen, click “New” and
the screen and pointer will change. Now just drag out a box over the bit you
want to capture and release the mouse button.
A window will pop up showing what you’ve captured and this can be saved (from
the “File” menu) to where you want as a PNG file which can then be attached to
the email as per this example.

Hi, Christine here. I am using a Mac and have a built in tool called
screenshot. I just click this, centre it around the item, click capture and
save it to my desktop to attach to an email.
Windows 10 has a similar tool (snipping tool) which can be accessed via the
start menu and typing “snip”.
Hope that helps.

Dear all,
Christine has posted a couple of screenshots of difficult entries in the books
and Rosemary would like to be able to do the same.
Christine please could you share your method on the group (just reply to this
email)?
Currently I can do it by using “Print Screen” then pasting the shot into an
image editing program to cut it down to size but it’s rather long winded. I
suspect you may have a simplere method.

Received some negatives from the museum today for an enquirer and thought you
might like to see this one of Mike Hawthorn at the TT Garage in April 1952.
It’s neg 5209 from box 365 in book 1 which Patsy and Rosemary are working on
(unfortunately it’s one of a pair but 5210 seems to have gone astray at the
moment – probably put back in the wrong box. ☹
