My guesses inserted below. What was the query on the 7th image? (something
Knight at the end?)
Please let us know what is the problem with pCloud - between us we should be
able to crack it. You can find the apps here

Hi Chris & Everyone
I might have finally cracked "snipping" so have attached various queries I
have.
My Son in Law tells me it is fine to insert a large piece into the body of
an excell spreadsheet. Enough lines must be inserted to take the new piece
and then the work will not be lost. It is only when too few lines are
inserted that work is lost.
I have been unable to open the cloud email.
The Queries:
No1 attachment Box 524 Negative 7437. Tilford School Pageant 'Sir Nigel
Holds ?
Because Holds has a capital I suspect it is a name but don't know what
No2 attachment Box 522 Neg. 7413 Barfield School Sports & Prize
Distribution - Mr Tice presents ? Cup to Wells
I think that could be "prize & cup"
No 3 attachment Box 531 Neg 7531 Churt Flower Show & Fete C
Voller tries his luck with ? Coconuts
"the Coconuts"?
No4 attachment Box 345 Neg 4930 Guides Thinking Day Bourne Hall
Presentation to Guide M Longbottom by Lady M?
Possibly Mumby?
No 5 attachment Box 342 Neg 4891 Views of Various Housing Estates in the
District Weydon Road Estate View Showing ? (it is the line above
Farnham P/C)
Looks like "Trapes City" but I can't think what that refers to (it's just
round the corner from us - "Trapes" is a place near Bentley?)
No 6attachment Box 342 Neg 4886 Views of Various Housing Estates in the
District Old Park Close showing ? ( the query is on the word
under Clump)
I think that is "farms"
Best wishes
Rosemary

Hi Patsy and everyone,
I think Patsy is right suggesting a separate Excel file for every 100 pages.
That way If everything goes wrong not all your hard work is lost.
However I believe there is a way of inserting the contents of one workbook
into the middle of another safely but we can sort that out later. (This
article seems to suggest a safe way -
https://business.tutsplus.com/tutorials/how-to-combine-excel-spreadsheets--c
ms-30397#:~:text=The%20easiest%20method%20to%20merge,to%20copy%20several%20s
heets%20from.)
In any case we can always build the final file by adding the individual ones
in order.
Regarding backups I have now created a pCloud folder to which you can all
upload your completed or semi-completed spreadsheets for safety. You should
receive a link to the folder but if it doesn't arrive please let me know.
Inside the folder you will find another folder with your name on it. Please
upload your files to that folder - this will avoid any overwriting in the
odd instance that you'd chosen the same filename.
You are also welcome to use the system for swapping files between yourselves
if you need to.
In order to make pCloud work more easily for you, you might find it better
to visit the pCloud website and download and install the Windows or Mac
interface. This will create a virtual folder on your machine into which you
can copy files and they will automatically be uploaded to the cloud.
Hopefully you won't find this too complicated but if you have any questions
please let me know.

Hello Chris and co,
I was suggesting that another sheet should be started when more than one
book is shared between several transcribers.
I have renamed my first sheet Book 1951 Page 50-100 the following sheet will
be pages Book 1951 Page 101-
With Excel if copy and paste is used to insert pages, it will delete
anything below the three empty line space. When seperate sheets are created
then they can be put together in order to make up the whole book.

Hi Rosemary, (I'm copying this to the list so everyone can see and comment)
What you suggest sounds fine to me. I'm hoping others will be on hand when
we start to build the database but I can build a temporary database here
from however many Excel files there are.
I'm pretty sure that we can just import one Excel file into another then
delete any unused rows. I'll have to look it up when we get to that -
probably when the first book is completed.
With the date and sized published it won't need to be too consistent as, I
don't think, it will ever be searched on. As long as it is understandable it
will act as a guide to finding the story/article associated with the photo/s
which will be very important until the bound volumes are digitised.
Archive queries have slowed a little of late but I'm expecting them to
pickup as this lockdown progresses.
Hope you are all well, not got square eyes or RSI! I'm currently scanning
negs for a series of articles we did on Farnham Schools in 1972 - quite
interesting to see how education has changed.

Hi Chris
Patsy is doing pages 50 to 100.
I finished pages 1-49 and then left 3 lines and carried on from 101 and I
have so far finished 109.
Patsy is worried that her piece cannot be worked in with mine, that I should
have left a bigger space.
For SGW when I changed years I just left 3 lines so thought it would be OK
this time.
Before I do any more would you please advise.
There is also a query re column 'Date and size published' I have written,
for instance T/C 4-9-53 as this was how it was written during the first page
it occurred, is this how you want the date typed in this column so that we
are consistent.
