handwriting Hi Christine Just looked at Wikipedia and there was a Colonel
Carson in the British Army (a Canadian) who had two sons who also became
Colonels. No obvious link to Peper Harow (where Oxenford is) or to dogs but it
might be worth putting “Carson?” after INDECIPHERABLE. Happy new year to
everybody. 2021 is going to be a year of jabs – anyone had theirs yet? Chris PS
I have collected the 1950s Herald prints from Maurice and there are at least a
couple of hundred! They are fabulous and are some of the ones you’ve been
indexing. I will start posting them on the Herald Archive Facebook page soon.
They may also answer a lot of questions! Chris

Hello Chris, regarding the query over a Colonel's name - it wasn't a hunt but
gun dog trials at Oxenford Grange, Elstead back in 1955 if that helps at all?
If not, I will have to put him down as INDECIPHERABLE. Thanks and a Happy New
Year to you, Christine
