Hi Family! My Mom came to my work today and took a workshop and learned how to make bamboo and paper lanterns! Yiippee! We can have a lantern parade for the reunion. My Mom sure is game isn't she! All the people I work with were super impressed. The Creative Alliance's Great Halloween Lantern Parade this next Saturday is gonna be great! You guys should come sometime! I talked to Gene. He sounds good. Mo was running and he was taking care of the kids. Philip was playing CHESS! Re: Elly. Mary has come back and now Ashley is in Albequerque. Gene goes out again next week to take her place. They are staying in a suite at the Courtyard Mariott there. In two weeks Elly will be moved to the Craig Hospital in Denver. This is a very small (200 patients), exclusive hospital that specializes in trauma rehab. So that is good. Elly will have the best possible care. They are holding off on the skin grafts till she is a bit more ready. Her body still seems to be doing ok. She is now opening her left eye but there is no awareness there. She can wiggle toes and fingers. So there you have it. There is no way of knowing if or when Elly will come back but folks are staying postive and working every angle. Aunt April said she was going to send Mary some gourmet teas and handbaked goodies so that will be good. Katy and I chatted. Kate said that she thought it was important that we keep the support rolling. It does help lift spirits - Gene again mentioned how good The Crate was. So...we'll keep thinking of ways to stay in touch. Love You Guys! Megan Megan Hamilton Program Director C r e a t i v e A l l i a n c e 413 S. Conkling St. Balto.
