Hi all -
Just came from Briery Creek Lake. Several individuals of all three expected
merganser species were in an area of open water at the Causeway, along with
a nice assortment of other ducks, e.g. single Redhead and Lesser Scaup
drakes. Not big numbers, but a nice group. Also a Fox Sparrow along the
causeway, robins and waxwings eating cedar berries. et al.
