In this webinar, presenters will discuss key changes to the TRICARE benefit
beginning in January 2018, including:
* Reduction of Three TRICARE Regions to Two: There are currently three
TRICARE regions in the U.S.: North, South and West. These three regions will
become two
<https://www.tricare.mil/About/Changes/General-TRICARE-Changes/Regions> on
Jan. 1, 2018. The North and South regions will combine to form TRICARE East.
The West region (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa
(excludes Rock Island arsenal area), Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri (except St.
Louis area), Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon,
South Dakota, Texas (southwestern corner including El Paso), Utah,
Washington and Wyoming.) will remain the same.

* Introduction of TRICARE Select: TRICARE Select

(https://www.tricare.mil/About/Changes/Select) will replace TRICARE Standard
both stateside and overseas.
* Enrollment Changes: Beneficiaries enrolled in a TRICARE program
<https://www.tricare.mil/About/Changes/General-TRICARE-Changes/Enroll> as
of Dec. 31, 2017 will transition to their respective plans on Jan. 1, 2018.
If you have TRICARE Prime <https://www.tricare.mil/About/Changes/Prime> ,
you'll remain in TRICARE Prime. If you have TRICARE Standard, you'll be
converted to TRICARE Select. (More info is available at

* Updated Costs: New TRICARE Prime and TRICARE Select out-of-pocket
costs <https://www.tricare.mil/About/Changes/General-TRICARE-Changes/Costs>
