There's a bill (H.R.4833, or MBPA, Migratory Bird Protection Act) in the
US congress right now, the purpose of which is to strengthen the
Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA), and to prevent future wrong
interpretations of that Act. You can help this bill by letting your US
congress representatives know that you support it.
It can be especially helpful to ask representatives to “co-sponsor and
support” HR 4833. American Bird Conservancy provides this
usefulinformation form to make contacting your representative easier.
