I poked around some on the website without problems. Good work!

Subject: [hcasboard] HCAS website migration status
Hi Everyone,
The migration of the HCAS website is in progress. A couple of days ago, the
website was copied from John Sawyer's server to a temporary location on a
GoDaddy server. (The official website on John's server is still up and
running.) This allows the website to be tested on the GoDaddy server. Changes
can also be made. After testing is complete, the website will be moved to its
final location at GoDaddy and the steps will be taken to have the web address
"highcountryaudubon.org" point to the website on the GoDaddy site instead of
the one on John's server..
Please review and test the website before these steps are taken.
Here is the link for the draft website on the GoDaddy server:
https://5pw.435.myftpupload.com/. ;
(If you go to highcountryaudubon.org now, you will be accessing the website on
John's server. After the migration is completed, highcountryaudubon.org will
point to the GoDaddy website installation.)
It was necessary to make a few changes to the website. See info below. Some
obvious outdated information was changed as well. Unless any significant
issues are discovered during testing, additional changes to the website will be
made later -- after we deal with the immediate need to get the website migrated
to a new location.
Necessary changes:
1. The plug-in that allows for revolving images on the home page was causing a
problem. The home page was simplified. (https://5pw.435.myftpupload.com/)
2. GoDaddy does not provide a free email address tied to the domain, such as
contactus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. We could pay for one but for now we are
going to use the existing email address highcountryaudubon@xxxxxxxxx for emails
from the website. The email address is provided on the "Contact Us" page. If
someone clicks on the address on the page, it will initiate an email to
highcountryaudubon@xxxxxxxxx. I have gmail set up to auto-forward emails to
highcountryaudubon@xxxxxxxxx to my personal email address. I can do the same
to have the emails auto-forwarded to Guy.
(https://5pw.435.myftpupload.com/contact-us/).
If you find any problems with the website or if you have any questions, please
let me know.
