I remember helping to plant those little trees. My, our babies are growing
up! I could not come to the latest invasive plant removal at the Greenway,
and tomorrow afternoon I have a doctor's appointment so I'll miss the
tree-planting at Valle Crucis too. May the Force be with you!

and Blue Ridge Conservancy to initiate a rotational mowing schedule for the
outer fields at the park. This means that a third of the fields will be
mowed each year, providing a diversity of habitat for the bird
