The Fastest Way to Build a Six Figure Income -
Make Your Email Marketing Personal"

Email is the cheapest most effective marketing tool ever
invented. It used to take weeks and thousands of dollars if 
you wanted to reach thousands of prospects. Today, you 
can blast your message to your list in sec The cost is 
almost free.

 course, that's also the problem with email. It's so easy and 
cheap that we're all swamped with it. Create any presence at 
all for yourself on the Net and a thousand spammers, 
associates, friends, and potential co-venturers add your 
address to their lists. The amount of information--valuable
to unwanted--is bewildering.

I find it is harder and harder to get people to respond to 
email marketing. It isn't because they don't care about what I 
have to say, but because they simply don't have time to read 
it all.

The one thing that cuts through mailbox clutter like a razor is 
a PERSONAL email message. Your personal rapid reply back 
to someone asking a question has the selling power of a 
1,000 name opt-in list. You just can't beat the one-on-one 
personal reply to make friends and build sales.

I have to give credit where credit is due. It was Bill Gates 
 thouswho predicted some years ago that the Internet would 
eventually become a place where experts give personalized 
advice to customers. That is where the Net's real power lies.  
Most of us will pay to get a solution that fits our situation.  
We will pay even more if that solution is created specifically 
for us.

Enough theory. Let's look at some simple ways you can put 
the Power of Personal to work in your email.


1. Offer to answer questions. "Got a question? Send it to me.  
I answer my own email and will reply back to you as quick as
possible."

When the questions start rolling in, start answering. Don't 
 to solve the entire problem (that could take you all day, 
and the prospect will need to pay you handsomely for that 
kind of help.) Just help with one or two points. You can 
usually cover it in one or two short paragraphs. Don't worry 
about your ability as a writer. People mostly care about 
getting the information. Run a spell checker over your note 
and you'll be OK.

The question I get most often is, "I'm getting lots of visitors
to my web site, but they aren't buying anything."

It usually takes me about five seconds to see what is wrong 
with their site. Then my answer back to them usually goes 
like this: 

"Your site looks great but it's hard to figure out what you are 
selling. Put some copy right at the top of your opening page 
that tells people what you can do for them. Then provide 
some easy-to-find order links. Make it easy for visitors to 
figure out what you can do to make their life better, then 
make it easy for them to buy--FAST!"


2.  Include some canned information with your note. If you 
get the same question over and over again, start off with a 
fresh couple of sentences, then paste in your standard 
answer. Make sure your note doesn't go on too long.  
Shorter notes look like you typed them especially for the 
occasion.


3.  Write articles and advertise in ezines (by far the most 
cost- effective advertising media available.) Establish 
yourself as a friendly, approachable source of information 
and advice. It doesn't matter whether you are selling guitars 
or legal help. People like to ask questions. They will give 
their business and loyalty to the person who happily 
answers them.


4.  Be sure to include a signature file. That is the four line
ad
with contact info at the end of your message. I've known so 
many affiliates, service providers, authors, and consultants 
who got MOST of their business from their email sig file.


One of the reasons a personal email stands out is so few 
people make a habit of doing it. I can't tell you how often I 
answer a question only to get a grateful reply back, "I can't 
believe I heard back from you. Nobody else will answer me."

I don't get an order from every question I answer, but 4 out 
of 10 buy something and it's often a package priced between 
$400 and $600.

Set aside a time each day to work your inbox. Come to think 
of it, it's the fastest way I know to build a six figure income 
online.
