My kids (ages 27, 24 and 18) won't allow me to put it out on the coffee table. They say it's just plain weird and ugly. They look at me funny when it arrives and ask probing questions about my sexual orientation and what kinds of clandestine photographic liaisons this Hasselblad world has lead me into. Even the issue with the layouts of the Bugatti Veyron (lovingly referred to as the Oy-Veyron) failed to impress our family's car aficionados. I no longer receive nor wish to download the rag. MHO So basically, what you said... I've been very un-impressed with Victor magazine. To the point that I did not sign up for the e-version. But much to my chagrin... I get a free hardcopy subscription with my scanner! I'm just not a fan of the majority of the kind of photography in Victor. The industrial stuff and tech stuff is pretty much OK. All of the stuff with models is, to me, just off the wall! And the photography (in many cases all of it) is on the edge of being bad. Poor DOF and lighting on interiors, goofy looking models & attire. What a waste of such a huge display space.
