i think, jira are not that what haiku and here developers and new developer
help, to get more productivity.
The focus are making a OS and Application.
Using git and track and ML are all what we need, more are bufferoverflow.
For a Webpage (Homepage) or Product page need more simplicity to understand
what haiku os are, here going out the meaning ;-)
For me, we are going with the BeOS spirit (the best from other OS, best
defaults, fast and lite), a OS for Pro, not Dau, a OS for OpenSource,
OpenSince, OpenEducation and yes A Multimedia Desktop, also with GUI, i
like the old BeOS UI (and the Win95), the new OS and here Desktop are
overload with stuff, only the redenring and input type are good.
Back to product page (homepage) need some goals:
1) What is Haiku OS?
2) What can Haiku OS do?
3) How can Haiku OS help to get finish and make future ready and save?
I like a OS, he have good:
security, save privacy, base installation with no 3rd Party apps, network
ready
I like the UNIX singel user specs and a good working GUI, i like the
fundamental language, like asm, c, c++ and shell, awk (and some othe unix
apps) and perl and the new comer golang.
all other are suck, (evtl. haskell ;-) are nice)

Before starting to write proposals and ideas, there is my presentation.
I am Nicolò, aka xdev31 and I am a web developer, sysadmin and a
marketing manager. I am from Italy (yes, I love pizza). I am working
in a company based in italy, I'm a press releaser too. I would help
HaikuOS with my great (maybe) ideas.
My goal is making life easier for each user of the Haiku community.

My ideas can be changed and they can be refused by Haiku Project
The first idea that I had is changing the bug tracker: from Trac to
Jira, an Atlassian product.
I think Trac is a good tool, but jira is the best. Jira

Atlassian can give free open source license for open source projects.

The second idea is about PR, public relations...
Haiku is a nice project, I knew some nice people that helps me and
others. BUT we haven't got an telegram group. A telegram group can
help the newbies about the Haiku Project. I need some proposals for
this argument....
The third idea is about Website
The website is great but I think the graphic is a little bit old.

think I will do a mockup and I will develop the final website using a
cms (ideas?) or I will do it with static pages.
The fourth idea is about organization of meetings...
Why don't we organize meetings in a private channel? Maybe only devs
and people that are important for project can talk in it. I think
meetings are important to track the roadmap and status of project...
What do you think about these ideas?
Why don't we have a leader?
Do we have an organization ?
I hope I will join to Haiku Team, I love open source projects!!!
