Is that the problem you're referring to?

I'm new here but it seems a bit puzzling to me that a bug which
prevents building of Haiku is still outstanding after four days. Is
the idea that we just fix it ourselves for now ? I hope this doesn't
appear to be aggressive or sarcastic. I am just wondering.

Good question, I was wondering, too. But I guess, just like myself, none of the committers had the time or ran into the problem themselves.

Anyway, Paweł committed a fix in hrev45358.
