I agree with this. That's part of the reason I tried to keep the black up
arrow in the hand like Be had, but still make the hand a little more
distinctive. It's not so much the hand I personally have a problem with... I
think it's kind of neat. :) It was just the lack of a distinction between
the normal hand pointer and the link hover pointer.

I was trying to sort of take the best of both worlds... to increase the
visual distinction while staying as close to the original Be cursor as
possible in spirit.

(Of course I'd want Stippi to try to fix it and make it look better, as he's
the master of the Haiku style. I was just doing a rough mock-up to
illustrate my idea.) ;)
