so you mean, bash can run as a shell in full text mode? brltty works wit
old com-ports, usb and bluetooth devices, it is a daemon so i gues when in
text mode it will do what it does in linux(it did in dos)

Terminal can run full-screen (just press alt + enter) and there is also a
plain console (consoled, used for the kernel debugger, but which can also
run a normal shell).
None of this helps with accessibility however. Eventually you need a shell
running over a tty, not textmode, for it to work with braille terminals.
